What our patients say
Frequently asked questions
What happens at my first appointment?
Your first appointment is your initial consultation. You’ll complete
your new patient paperwork, then sit down with the chiropractor to
discuss your symptoms, concerns and health history.
The chiropractor will then carry out the relevant assessments, which
may include a digital posture assessment, chiropractic and orthopaedic
tests, a thermal scan, muscle scan, heart rate variability test and
X-rays if clinically required.
How long does my first appointment take?
Your first appointment is booked for 30 minutes.
If you complete your new patient paperwork before you arrive, please
come 5 minutes early. If you have not completed it beforehand, please
arrive 15 minutes early so you have time to fill it in before your
appointment.
Will I be adjusted on my first visit?
No. The first visit is focused on gathering the information your
chiropractor needs through your consultation, examination and any
relevant scans or X-rays.
Your chiropractor will review the findings before your second visit.
At that visit, they will explain whether they believe they can help
and what they recommend. If care is recommended and you choose to get
started, you can receive an adjustment at that visit.
Will I need X-rays?
Not everyone requires X-rays. Your chiropractor will only recommend
them if they are clinically relevant based on your consultation and
examination.
If X-rays are required, they can be taken in-house using our digital
X-ray facilities.
How much does the first visit cost?
The normal cost of the first visit is £150, but under the current
promotion the total cost is £70.
This includes your initial consultation, relevant examinations and
tests, X-rays if required, and your second visit where your
chiropractor will explain the findings and recommendations.
How much is the second visit?
The second visit is included in the £70 payment, so there is no
additional charge for the report visit.
If your chiropractor recommends care and you choose to get started,
adjustments cost between £55–£75 depending on your care plan.
Where can I park?
There is plenty of on-street parking on the side streets just off
Clermiston Road, close to the clinic.
The clinic is located on the corner of St John’s Road and Clermiston
Road, and there is also a main bus stop nearby with regular services.
